And mine.

I know just how Steg feels.  I came _very_ close to quitting the list not
so very long ago after a lot a flames which left me very weary.  But after
one (I think) public & several private emails urging me to change me mind,
I'm still here.

Don't shut up permanently, Steg.  You've made some valuable contributions,
particular as regards Semitic langs.  We'll be a poorer list without them.
