well when i did a project for a linguistics course about conlangs
(the project was about conlangs not the course, unfortunately) i
sorta just did it on conlanging in general[1] (with most of my
information coming from the wonderful people on this list) and then
provided samples of my own conlang as a tangible example... it wasn't
12-15 pages (it didn't have to be... it was more of a poster
presentation type thingy), but it probably could have been.

[1]what is conlanging?  how do people do it?  the differences between
conlangs and auxlangs, concultures, etc. etc.
