OT: Research Paper Topic

I'm taking a linguistics course from a professor who likes the ideas of
conlangs, but doesn't know much about them. I have to do a 12-15 page
research paper on a lingusitic subject. I'm currently signing up for
Language & Computers, but I _might_ be able to convince her to let me do a
more conlang-related topic if I could come up with a decent idea that would
need 12-15 pages to cover.
Any ideas? I would be very very very grateful.
