Hey, cool... I used to think in terms of number-genders and letter-genders when I was a little kid, too; I haven't a clue why, but 2, 4, 5, and 6 seemed definitely male to me, 3, 7, 8, and 9 definitely female; 0 and 1 were neutral, though sometimes I thought of 1 as male; the letters had their genders as well and all the numbers up past 20 had colors, some of the letters also. Very odd; I wonder if "latching on" to arbitrary divisions of monotonous groups like the numbers or letters is in inborn mnemonic trick; in the abscence of meaningful ways to differentiate elements we invent our own.
