When I was actively conlanging, I pinched words from anywhere I
pleased, and decided that there must be some magic wormholes that
occasionally pop up linking all real and fictional worlds to all other
real and fictional worlds, in order to justify random borrowing.

If you not only *borrow* from another conlang, but also give it some
free *advertising* in the process by acknowledging it, I find it hard
to believe there's a single person in the entire world who would be
offended by that!
