Damned, I also spoke too fast. I forgot of *suggerer*
(e acute on the 1st e), *suggestion*, etc.

If you cut that word into syllables, it will be:
*sug-ge-rer*, from Latin *sug-gerere*, probably a
deformation of *sub-gerere*. So in fact, there is no
special pronunciation for *gg* in French, as each g
belongs to a different syllable. Before e and i, g is
normally pronounced like *zh*.
