Not at all. And I love the sound of /S/ + plosive combinations. As to the Japanese thing, I gather the Japanese high vowels, /i/ and /M/, are _devoiced_ between unvoiced obstruents; which would be why Yoshiko sounds like /joSko/ to us non-natives. Damn, I so have to learn some Japanese soon... :) Unquestionably (arguably, some might say) the most beautiful language I've heard, Swedish coming next. Óskar
