*nods* I think I'd be more likely to use this -- "Und ich dann zu ihm,
'...', und er dann zu mir, '...'".
Also, in English, I've come across "be all" in a similar usage to "be
like": "And then she was all, 'that's, like, totally stupid', so I'm
all, 'yeah, like, totally'".
