Yes, it is an addiction. Sure, you can try to get so busy that you don't
have time to conlang, but when you are waiting in line at the
supermarket or standing in the shower, it seems inevitable that you will
realize that you don't have a word for "tabloid" or a verb tense to
express that you have recently begun to shower again after a long period
of not showering. (Not to say that's the case with me. I shower
frequently.)
