Read the documentation for dvips/dvipdf/pdflatex. You may need to manually configure things so that Type 1 fonts are used by default. For my own setup, I had to edit the config file of dvips to force it to use Type 1 fonts always; otherwise it will default to using METAFONT and embed the results in a type 3 font. (I can dream on about embedding METAFONT in documents, but that's just a dream... :-P) [snip]

[snip] Actually, I've just decided to drop that article I was writing, on Ebisedian's pronominal system. It's either too complex to fit in 10 pages, or I'm just not going about it the right way. So, I've instead written a very detailed (and I hope, fun) walkthrough of my relay text from the 2001 relay, dissecting almost every word and phrase, illustrating different aspects of Ebisedian at work. I've actually finished writing the first draft (it has an IPA pronunciation guide too! *and* some nice LaTeX macros, mmmmm), and will make a few more passes over it before sending it. I like what I have so far! :-) T -- WINDOWS = Will Install Needless Data On Whole System -- CompuMan
