n for natural --- that was the group that later became sci.lang.
net.lang was for computer languages, and became comp.lang.

And now you made me go and google for old articles. It shows a single
article from me in December 1985, and a few from Mike Urban (founder
of the Esperanto mailing list). I'm sure Mike used to be here as well,
but it's been a while since he's posted.
