Yahoo has never been known to listen to anything but its financial
bottom-line.
I know that I found it odd/frustrating when I was able to subscribe to and
lurk on CONLANG & AUXLANG through YAHOO with no indication that the groups
were merely archives rather than fully functional groups. Only due to my
years in IT was I able to ascertain how to subscribe to CONLANG & AUXLANG.
Perhaps that is the goal: an intelligence test to reduce the number of
interested in dividuals on COMNLANG & AUXLANG. If not, has anyone tried the
polite option of changing the descriptive verbiage associated with these
lists on YAHOO.
