You mean "belreg" ? It's definitely not a dutch word, although it could be,
phonetically. "Balrog" coulod also be dutch, as both syllables seperately
are Dutch words ("bal" means "ball" and "rog" is a "ray" (as in "manta ray",
not "ray of light")). But the combination seems somewgar odd, although I
could imagine it being a spherically shaped fish giving off electrical
shocks.
