I believe that the /t/ > /ts/ shift in the syllable /tiV/ does not apply if you have /s/ before /t/. May be other cases, but that one I do remember reading from my ol' Wheelock's Latin paperback... ~ Ha ha, made you look! ~ Danny Wier Lufkin, Texas
