Klin Zha uses a triangular board and triangular cells. It's a quite enjoyable game. The index at http://www.chessvariants.com/index/mainquery.php?type=Any&category=Shape lists several games with unusual-shaped boards, including several triangular ones: Beryl Chess, Chess for Three, Diamond Chess II, Dino-Czars, Pirate Chess, Sankaku Shogi, Triangle Chess, and Trystilmatian Chess, -- Mark J.
