Very nice idea.
I would like to point out, though, that since early this year
various organ donor awareness groups have also been using the green ribbon
as a symbol for their cause. While I don't think there would be a conflict,
there might be a bit of confusion on both sides.
Also, does it have to be just for conlangs? Why not "Learn a dying
language"? (Or something that sounds far less depressing.) I'm studying my
7th language, so I'm all for the preservation of languages. It will ensure I
have something to learn when I retire! ;-)
Anyway, I have a little green ribbon pin at home I'll have to dig up
now....
