And you wouldn't want that to be inches, either!!  Oddly, my birthdate (34)
and waist size in inches do coincide.

BTW-- perhaps Boudewijn's idea that "stocky" meant thin/skinny was based on
a false analogy with Dutch _stok_:  **stokk-ig ?stick-like?   I've made
similar mistakes forming English words on the basis of Dutch forms (whether
real or false cognates). (That is, until I finally check the dictionary)
