Hi, and welcome back to the list; I'm new, myself. I can imagine you presenting the conculture to someone and they ask "How did you ever dream up that idea?" I once dreamed that I was studying English dialects and was trying to do field research in England -- I'm not a linguist in real life -- but I couldn't understand what anybody was saying. Finally, I flagged down a car and asked the driver for a ride. He said, "No hablo ingles." So I replied, "Yo tampoco." Now let's see if I can follow this, without referring to old posts: it looks like the T-shirt sentence. ma buda luna-li -aneala...ma dita luna! IMPERAT fight language-GEN-death...IMPERAT invent (a) language! or maybe "ma" is 2Person and the imperative is specified by the "a" at the end of the verb??? Jeff
