To see a system with a lot of cases, you probably want to check out a grammar of Finnish. To get lots of detail on ergative/absolutive systems, check out a book called "Ergativity" by RMW Dixon (Cambridge University Press). Are you right with these five? If you're asking whether a language could get along with only these five cases for its nouns and pronouns, I'd say "yes." Jim
