Archaic or dialectal; in modern standard Romanian it's considered
rude to use it. At least that's what I was taught in the early
nineteen-eighties when Romania was still a dictatorial communist
state; political reform seems to have brought back a lot of language
forms that were ... well ... "discouraged" by the old regime.
