But of course you did. I'm not sure you needed to say that; 'I've just

If I'm not mistaken, you use $\ddot{\smile}$. You can also make a
frownie with $\ddot{\frown}$ or :S with $\ddot{\sim}$. I'm sure you
could find more 'uses' for $\ddot$ if you wanted.
