Native speakers who have [R] usually have [Rt_d] etc. rather than [t`]
etc. This is quite different from loss of /r/ before dentals, which is
also common with speakers who use [r\`] or [4] for /r/, for example in
Gothenburg. My sons are lovely examples: for them _spott_ "spittle" and
_sport_ "sport" are homophones...
