Oh! So "Tsalagi" is the word "Cherokee" mapped into the Cherokee sound
system, which doesn't have /r\/ (or /S/ or /k/, apparently), and
we got "Cherokee" from the Creek (while getting "Creek" from someone
else. Lovely.) So does anyone know how close "Cherokee" is or isn't
to the original Creek word?
Thanks!
