That's exactly the kind of thing I have thought about before. Perhaps
there are infinite parallel universes, and somewhere there are people
who speak Zaraitian or Dhakrathat or Lainesco. Then I sometimes
wonder, like you said about genocide, if what I decide about those
alternate worlds will really happen, like if I decide a people is
conquered and destroyed, does that really happen in some universe? The
scariest idea is that of religion; if someone makes up a conreligion
where there is some sort of hell, does that mean that people in an
alternate universe can go there if you decide so? SCARY! :D
