I read an Swedish translation, in which "idol-singer" evidently got
translated as "ikonsångare" (sixth letter is a-ring), which rather means
"icon-singer".

Virtual Light but not All Tomorrow's Parties. Will look for it next time I'm
at the library (probably = today).
