I am sorry I over used the term "Warlike"they are more into
competition than war.. To them it has become a ritual more than
war.. Total war is to totally destroy your opponant, namely so
they can not wage war no more. Versus Genocide which is to
totally destroy them genetics or if you like Ethnocide
(destroying them as a ethnic group versus genetically destroying
them).
The Satra (name for them for now) love the hunt, the thrill of
war, the competition of it..

As a science fiction afficionado (but not writer -- I've given up
*grins*)
I have to say that I distrust such simplistic definitions of an
entire
species as "warlike." Are humans warlike? Then what does one
make of
quakers, Gandhi, and H. D. Thoreau? If you mean they're *more*
warlike
than humans, how the hell did they ever get enough technology to
manage
space travel before they destroyed themselves?
