The form _roma^nesc_ is still in use; it means, not surprisingly,
"Romanian", but applied to other things than people and the language,
like _muzica roma^neasca*_ (* standing for the little "u" on top of
the a that makes it into an almost-shwa) "Romanian music". _Muzica
roma^na*_ would mean "music in the Romanian language".
