    Since age 13 (6th grade * ), certain grrls noticed _me_ and gave chase...
and I would scamper away - either outta cheeky playin'-hard-to-get-ness or
outta reaaal tremblin' and trepidation...

* I failed 1st grade on sheer rebellious "perverse attitude"; i.e. I wanted
to re-invent the bloody alphabet when teachers were trying to teach block
printing; wanted to play dissonances and noises during music class, etc. ad
infinitum... Me Mum says raising me was like raising 10 kids at once and that it
was/is highly unfortunate that in the USA putting one's kids on a leash is frown
upon (unlike in the UK).
