Dutch is indeed softer than German. I like to speak German (or sing
in it) because it tastes nice, kind of like lemon sherbet :-)

But what did she *say*? (obviously "Kare wa uma no ketsu", but what
does it mean in a language I can understand?)
I don't have an opinion about Japanese, not having heard enough of
it, but I'm fond of Finnish, Hungarian, Estonian, Welsh and Latin. I
used to turn the radio on late at night as a teenager, trying to get
all kinds of strange languages on the short wave and guess what they
were.
