This is a "flame war"? I was under the impression that "to flame" meant
to personally attack a person. This seems to be to be a very reasonable
discussion, albeit one which is completely off-topic.

I still feel strongly for the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis which supposes that one
perceives reality along the lines determined by language (in a way, that the
language we speak determines how we think). I _had_ thought the link to
conlanging rather self-evident. However, suitably chastised, I return to lurk
mode. Thanks for the insights, those who contributed!
