    I like this distinction between "inalienable" and "alienable".  I think
there are three distinctions in Arabic which I didn't fully understand which
is why I never tried anything like that.  But I like yours.  I might expand
it to "things which aren't inherently a part of you that you can hold" (like,
"my watch"), "things which aren't inherently a part of you which you can't
hold" (like, "my car"), "people to which you are related" (like, "my
brother"), "people to which you aren't related" (like, "my friend"), and
"things to which one feels a connection though the connection cannot be
descerned by the naked eye" (like, "my star", or something).  Fun, fun, fun.
I also liked your Aeneid text.  :)
