He he, the first time I ever ate frog legs, it was in an Italian restaurant in Eindhoven, the Netherlands :)) . So much for the legend of the frog-eating Frenchies :) .

Never heard of this method. I wouldn't trust it if I were you. At least with the salt method, you actually see all the bad liquids coming out :) .

Yeah, shallots too, that's true. Never heard of using green onions, but again they are not that easy to find in France.

I tried it with mussels but I found it really bad. The taste of the mussels doesn't match at all with the taste of the butter!, But with meat (or simply on bread) it's quite nice.

:))) Yeah, don't forget the French bread, very necessary!!! As for working it off, well the French have the best average life expectancy in the world, so it mustn't be that bad :)) . Christophe. http://rainbow.conlang.free.fr
