Well, I know for sure there is no glotal stop nor any glide, nor
lengthening, and I also know that there is a differerence when
speaking slarvishly /sabed4a/ vs speaking carfully /saabed4a/. The
way I analize my own speech is that double vowels have a tonal
difference, or probably a small difference in quality [aA].
The same applies for "...ee...", "...ii..." and "...oo...", in words
like "veeduría", "reencuentro", "tiito", "cooperación".
