Thanks for still having the energy to correct Pascal. He is indeed
constantly spreading weird ideas about Standard German, especially
about his most liked topic /e/. And he is probably confusing people
who do not know about German phonology. Very annoying.
There is probably not a single linguist of German who agrees with
Pascal's ideas.
