Yes, voiceless velar fricative,
but if the next sylable starts with /b/, /d/ or /g/,
then voiced glottal fricative [h\] would be pronounced by my kinsmen.

I see, final -[m], -[n], -[N] are alophones of final phoneme -/n/
(depending on initial C of next sylable, bpf, dts or gkx),
but initial /m/- and /n/- are two separate phonemes.
Then maybe there could be third initial nasal phoneme /N/- too.
And maybe this could be applied to the voice assimilation too:
initial voiced fricatives /v/-, /z/-, /G/- could be added,
while final -[v], -[z], -[G] would be only voiced alophones
of -/f/, -/s/, -/x/ before voiced C.
