Well, I'm truly sorry for making everyone mad, especially Chris - I did not
mean to wake a useless thread from death to plague anyone nor make any point
about ergativity, but obviously I didn't make that clear enough.
I think I may have understood what Markus was talking about - at least I
can think of a case where such a construction could be used - but it's all
the same now.
