Well, that's why in one of my newest languages I have about ten different
words which mean "to lie", all with slight differences in meaning. For
instance, one is to lie in order to cover up for a friend or someone you wish
to remain unblamed; one is to lie without knowledge that one is actually
correct; one is to intend to deceive but to fail. There are more...
