Chances are pretty good that if you DON'T receive
Conlang email during a period of time that the
list is held.
As a general rule of thumb: do not send a message
to the list asking if the list is held. We won't
see it until the list is released, and by that
time, you'll already know that it's been
released. And anyway, we're wasting 2 to 4% of
the Daily Limit by asking and answering these
questions every time the list does get held.
If you feel that your email programme is acting
wonky - please don't hesitate to send a private
message to another Conlang member. Alternatively,
if you're on Conculture or one of the other
conlang related lists, you are more than welcome
to ask there (as there's no daily limit on Yahoo
groups). If the list is active, they'll let you
know and you can sort out your problem. If it's
held, they'll let you know that too and you
needn't fret.
Padraic.
