And here they are, with their translations (with a space between
seasons):
1. Lissaqai' (Time of Birth)
2. Liznabwa'si (Time of Infants)
3. Liskanblagudi'a (Time Before-Mating)
(extra: Liblata'la (Time of Waiting))
4. Liblagudi'a (Time of Mating) - Summer Solstice
5. Lispiblagudi'a (Time After-Mating)
6. Liskagisu' (Time of Heat)
7. Lidinkagisu' (Time of More Heat)
8. Liblayawi'n (Time of Dying) - Fall Equinox
9. Liblakasdyaguta' (Time of Cooling)
10. Lizdinblakasdyaguta' (Time of More Cooling)
11. Liblakasgazlla' (Time of Darkening)
12. Lizgazlla' (Time of Darkness) - Winter Solstice
13. Lidyaguta' (Time of Cold)
14. Lizyaunna' (Time of Death)
15. Litli^ (Time of Hope)
16. Liskalla' (Time of Newness) - Spring Equinox
The seasons are called:
Liskalla' (Time of Newness) - Spring
Liskagisu' (Time of Heat) - Summer
Liblakasgazlla' (Time of Darkening) - Autumn
Lizgazlla' (Time of Darkness) - Winter
Note that these are also the names of months 16, 6, 11, and 12. The
extra month is inserted to keep Summer Solstice in Liblagudi'a, in the
5-Year calendar. The speakers of Watya'iya`isa have a specific mating
season, and thus, a specific birthing season, hence the names for the
first 5 months.
