Amazon is picky about spelling of the author's name - try "Eleanor Harz
Jorden".

These texts are for the spoken language, so they don't provide any practice
with kana and kanji.  I'm planning to get them so that I can practice with
the tapes, but it's also good to have a textbook on the written language that
uses kana from the beginning and introduces at least some kanji.
