That's true. "Do" does have several related uses.
Uatakassi uses the verb _zluta_, more or less "to do" as a sort of
pro-verb also, using it to, for example, allow bound morphemes and
auxiliaries to be used without a verb. Like _zlutazguuki_ "I enjoy it",
lit. "I enjoy doing it". However, it's not that common in such uses,
and in the case of an auxiliary like -daku/-zgu "enjoy", it's more
common to use the appropriate verb, like _lauzgu_ for a drink or food
(lau = drink or eat).
