Indeed there are, but those smallcaps fonts are larger than an x-height;
for a small cap letter to mix well with lowercase, it should be smallcaps.
Theoretically, Teoh could just modiyf the smallcaps font to give it the
same x-height if he wanted, but it wouldn't be as portable.
