Yes, but that should say Amazon and Ucayali river areas. I don't think
there's a river called Loreto. Department yes but not river. At least I
can't remember one. It's been a long time since I studied Peruvian
geography at school
The jungle includes several departments: Loreto, Ucayali, Amazonas,
Madre de Dios, San Martin have all or most of their territory in the
jungle. Others like Cuzco and La Libertad have part of their
territories in the jungle. I don't know the precise distribution of the
construction
