Aquatic bugs aren't the only yummy bugs IIRC.
Then again I am partly Cantonese and Cantonese are known for eatin'
practically anything not nailed down or locked up... and that doesn't seem to stop
me either to the constant complaints of my housemates...
Housemate (seeing me with his ice cream): Is that my ice cream???
Me (quickly snarfing the entire bowl in one slurpy gulp before
answering): Nope. Use the past tense.
Housemate: _Was_ that my ice cream?
Me: I dunno. It kinda fell on _my_ side of the freezer...
Housemate (pissed-off): God!!!!*&#@ IT!
Me: No no, God blessed it and I ate it.
Housemate (about to flee to his room): You're just too f***ing
impossible...
Me (grinning big): Nicest thing ya've said all year to me.
Housemate turns, flees and slams his door (*psst!* which just happened to
be booby-trapped for the next time he slammed his door). Housemate had to be
carted off to the psych ward for 3 days...
Okay back to bugs, I hafta put that bugs on my food list/dietary
improvements list! I am poorer than the church mice and most edible land bugs are
"free" (born free, range free, for free, etc) _"as is"_ in the US...
Seriously, does any one have advice on cleaning, cooking and consuming bugs?
Website recommendations?
