Dear fellow, it is not that English has no middle road. The
affliction is that English of the 20th century has no middle road.
In the madcap dash towards a "liberation" that ends up liberating
nobody, a magnificent treasure of English erotic tradition was
hastily and stupidly thrown away as being mere "euphemism".
