Actually, I just remembered that some interesting archaeological finds have
been made in South America of Roman merchant vessels which had, apparently,
been blown off course while trading in the Atlantic. I think these were found in
Rio de Janeiro's harbor, which puts them pretty close to Guaraní -- why not
Romano-Guaraní? (That would take some pretty hefty research on your part,
of course.)
You could also try Latin-Berber, or Latin-Basque combinations, I suppose.
(Those may have actually existed at one point, at least until the Visigoths laid
waste Spain and North Africa.)
