There are lots of constructors of wacky card games that nobody may
ever play; more, I suspect, than there are conlangers. Getting a
custom deck of cards printed up is certainly possible, but pricey;
less pricey is to purchase blank laser-printable (or inkjet-printable)
cards; least pricey is to use sheets of card stock which you then cut
yourself. In all of these cases the unit cost drops as the number of
decks goes up...
I'm looking forward to finally getting to play my first game of
Glossotechnia, now that Jim is driving the many . . . . tens . . . of
miles to my place of work, since I never managed to get off my sitter
and drive to his place.
It would be nice if it were playable online, but you would lose the
charades aspect. Could use video conferencing, maybe, or allow image
URL's on the condition that the text (URL itself, ALT tag, surrounding
on the page, etc.) is no help...
