I'm working on adding some more cards to my
advanced Glossotechnia deck, mostly things already
mentioned in the "Possible cards not yet playtested"
section of
http://www.pobox.com/~jimhenry/conlang/glossotechnia_deck.html
What would be the appropriate term for a sound
shift that replaces a certain type of consonant
cluster with a single phoneme? E.g., it might be
used to change consonant + /j/ clusters
in existing words turn into palatalized consonants,
or turn vowel + nasal sequences
into nasalized vowels, or things like that.
