according to the IPA chart, a voiceless pharyngeal stop isn't impossible. hmm... the box for a pharyngeal trill isn't shaded either... part of my list of consonants to include in some conlang: pharyngeal trill pharyngeal stop velar lateral fricative [H] [H_0] [h\] retroflex trill labiodental trill uvular lateral approximant ... hmm... maybe i could write a story about aliens who invade earth and then make everyone learn a language in which the plural marker for nouns is [y_0] + a pharyngeal trill or something evil like that...
