One of my favorites, definitely. I recently saw it performed by the
Sacramento Ballet with orchestra. I feel sorry for the tenor who has to
sing "Olim lacus colueram!" entirely in falsetto. My personal favorite is
the drinking song in the tavern: "Bibit hera, bibit herus, bibit miles,
bibit clerus..." Hilarious!
